Once you, as a bride, know that you will be a vision of loveliness You can focus on planning the wedding of your dreams for you and your guests to enjoy. And dare we say it… it is not all about the dress. Sure… it is important but we believe that a wedding is all about the details. And every wedding, like a marriage, is a unique event with a hundred and one details and deserves to be celebrated. We are a brand new, family run prom and bridal store located in Martensville, Saskatchewan.  We are just ten minutes out of Saskatoon, well worth the drive!  Co-owners Glenda and Amy Edmunds opened the doors of A La Mode on October 11, 2007 and have been loving every minute.  Glenda has been working as a seamstress for nearly 25 years.  Last spring she was inundated with the need to have gowns altered for upcoming weddings.  She was also party to the need for a relaxing gown shopping experience, and the idea was born.  Amy, a former university history student came on board with a love of weddings (She's planning her own!) and a knowledge of working in retail for several years. We decided to start this store for several reasons:  One, we love weddings!  And really, who doesn't?  There's such an air of promise and new beginnings at a wedding, much like at the opening of this store!  The other was noticing the demand for a store that made weddings much, much easier.
